HOW IT WORKS

Reviewed information, with the document still attached.

Source documents remain part of the record. Financial information is published after review, not as soon as a file is uploaded.

The operational lifecycle

  1. 01

    Receive documents

Capital calls, distribution notices, NAV statements, capital-account statements and related GP files are received from the GP, the client, or both.

  2. 02

    Process and structure information

Relevant details are entered into fund, investor-account and transaction records. People do this work. Pennacle is not positioned as an automated extraction product.

  3. 03

    Review and approve

A checkpoint compares the structured record with the source document and with the existing position. Information is not accepted only because a file arrived.

  4. 04

    Publish approved information

After approval, the client portal can show the record and the document behind it. There is no promised turnaround time.
